Feminist Summer School, organized by Vagenta and Black Button Books, is a postfeminist pilot project wich brings together two generations of women with the purpose to co-create and share experiences.
Over the summer we forced cultural projections and traditional roles imposed on women through visual canoes, media, or culture. The school's stake was to generate cultural interventions through diverse backgrounds and an interdisciplinary approach.
With the participation of: Oana Maria, Paul Dunca, Andreea Tron, Rucsandra Pop, Andra Matzal, Suzana Dan, Laura Grunberg, Fatma Yilmaz, Cosima Opârtan, Veda Popovici, Mara Mărăcineanu, Virginia Lupu and Black Horse Mansion
Vagenta is a collective that questions and explores women's perspectives. We promote values such as the right to expression, gender equality, intellectual freedom, and freedoms of one's own body, sorority and creating a collective context, a safe space for individual or group exploration.
The Black Button Association aims to inform and inspire. Innovative ideas, uncomfortable topics, unprecedented perspectives, and solid arguments are the things that they propose to the community of readers involved, both online and off-topic.
Project co-funded by the National Cultural Fund Administration (AFCN). The project does not necessarily represent the position of the National Cultural Fund Administration.
