The Books and the Silence
Lecture and writing workshop

“The workshop addressed the unspoken places (the empty spots), spots that appear important to the participants at the workshop and are usually not found in books.” (Ovid Pop, 2018)
During the workshop the participants co-produced texts by working together with the writer Ovid Pop, drawing upon his texts from the volume The Estate of the Living. The participants were invited to engage in dialogue with these texts, either by continuing or by rewriting them with their own vision and abilities. The workshop ended the following day with a performative common reading drawn from the text production of the previous day.
