Charles Esche is the director of the Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven since 2004. He is co-founder of Afterall Journal and Afterall Books. He (co)curated numerous exhibitions and biennials, among which: the Sao Paolo Biennale, 2014, Riwaq Biennial, Palestine, 2009 and 2007, Istanbul Biennale, 2005, Gwangju Biennale, 2002 and more recently, in 2017, the NSK State Pavilion at the 57th Venice Biennale.
From Bucharest, Charles Esche goes to Sibiu, where he will have a public discussion within FITS, together with Dan Perjovschi, on the 16th of June 2017 at 2 pm, at Habitus Bookshop.
