The Clinic is initiated by: Alina Popa, Florin Flueras

Six artists met in a Transylvanian village to develop therapies that can function as artworks too. This is how The Clinic began. A decisive factor in its initiation was Alina Popa’s chronic disease, without much medical hope. After Unsorcery and Black Hyperbox, The Clinic continues the “artworlds” idea of mildly choreographed processes that are establishing as artworks not only products but production, research, curating, art making, forms of living - artworks as artworlds. In The Clinic, contexts that don't belong together are overlapped - the art space becomes a clinic where esthetic healing and performative therapies can happen.
