"The one-week curatorial course led by Maria Lind and Juan A. Gaitan at Salzburg Summer Academy 2012 has brought up topics like mediation, education and public in the context of curatorial practices. With a variety of participants who activate as curators across the world, this course has focused on curating as a practice that produces both shows and independent educational content. I am delighted to share my experience and my feedback on issues and people that I came across during this course." (Luminita Apostu)

"During this year’s Salzburg SOAK I attended the course of Christoph Schaefer, Drawing as desiring machine : Reinventing the City. We were based in Alte Saline in Hallein, near Salzburg, for three weeks of drawing-based experiments, discussions, lunch-time talks, exercises of discovering the city and the great mix of students from all over the place. During this evening talk I will present the key moments of my experience, some of the inspiring people that I’ve met, what I actually worked on and some glimpses of my sketchbook." (Daniela Palimariu)
